RE/MAX agent honored for community service

March 4, 2007

Arlene Beckwith, a RE/MAX Gold Coast Realtors' associate, was acknowledged for her community service by the Channel Islands Waterfront Homeowners Association at its annual meeting.

CIWHA President Bill Clark presented an engraved brass-on-wood plaque to the surprised marina real estate agent in sincere appreciation of he outstanding contribution and commitment to Mandalay Bay.

The acknowledgement was for the work that Beckwith had done in refurbishing the Mandalay Bay entrance at Meridian Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.

She quietly organized and paid for the work to enhance the entry on both sides of the street.

"Mandalay Bay is where Keith (her husband) and I live and work," Beckwith said. "It was an opportunity to give something back to our neighbors.

Keith Beckwith is a successful contractor specializing in refurbishing marina homes.

Beckwith's RE/MAX real estate signs are appearing throughout the community and give testimony to her excellent client service.

"Arlene is a terrific example of the kind of associates we want in our beach and marina office. Service to community and the client is paramount," said Tom Conway, manager REMAX Gold Coast Realtors Seabridge Marketplace office. "Arlene's energy and enthusiasm is contagious. We are pleased that she decided to join our team.
